Booking Options

All bookings for Mrs Doubtfire are bespoke. That means you let us know what you want to do, how much time you have, what your budget is and we’ll send you a quote.

Just to give you an idea, the following can be used as a guideline.

Kiddies Parties

These can range anywhere between 2hrs and 4 hrs (including drive time to/from the venue). Depending on the pickup address, we can collect the kids & go on an outing with a few fun stops en route. You can have a choice of us catering from the firetruck (eg Boerie rolls and/or hamburgers & softdrinks) or you can choose to stop somewhere for a picnic or food venue. 

Fun Outings (Eg: Hen parties, Stag Parties, Anniversaries, Birthday parties, Matric Dances),

You can choose the time limit & the itinerary. After pick-up we can follow a suggested itinerary with various stops en route. The outing could be an inner-city pub crawl or we could keep the party on the firetruck and choose a catering option which includes food & drink served en route. Popular outings are sundowner cruises through the city and then along the spectacular Atlantic Seaboard  with a stop on Chapmans Peak Drive before returning to the city. Remember, the latest drop-off time is 10pm

Corporate outings, Year End Parties, Team Building Events, etc

With current lockdown legislation, everyone is wanting to escape to the outdoors, so, what better than a fun treat for you and your staff on an open-air Fire Engine. We can incorporate a program for team building or we can simply cruise around enjoying the beauty of the Cape while being fed & watered and thoroughly spoilt by our on-board host.    

Full Day & Half Day Tours (Cape Peninsula & Cape Winelands)

If you’re expecting visitors in town and you’d like to take them sightseeing, this is a great, hassle-free option. Instead of relying on stuffy vehicles, and busy restaurants, let’s plan a full or half day outing for you on our open plan Firetruck that will cover all the must-visit places (Cape Point, Chapmans Peak Drive, Boulders penguin colony, Kalk Bay etc.) and enjoy your own picnic served from the catering facilities on board
